MW4 DMZ Deployment Bonus: Contents and Eligibility

Find out what the MW4 DMZ Deployment Bonus refers to, which edition offers it and how its benefits are delivered.

AT A GLANCE

The DMZ Deployment Bonus is additional DMZ content included with the Vault Edition of Modern Warfare 4. The official editions page lists it for launch on 23 October, and the official FOB guide confirms that Vault owners get a third Active Duty Operator slot instead of two. The full item list has not been published in one official table.

Which edition includes it

This is not a reward for every deployment and not a standard DMZ starter kit. The reviewed official pages connect the Deployment Bonus to the Vault Edition and describe it as additional DMZ content at launch.

The standard game still includes access to DMZ. The bonus is an extra package for people choosing the more expensive edition, which makes it a purchase decision rather than a prerequisite for playing.

What is officially confirmed

The clearest item-level confirmation is the extra Active Duty slot. The official FOB guide says Vault Edition owners have access to an additional slot, raising the starting count from two to three.

The same editions page promises additional DMZ content at launch but does not list every included object. Treat a complete inventory table as unconfirmed unless it comes from the edition entitlement itself.

Player-reported contents

A player who said they received the package listed one extra Active Duty slot, two Weapon Insurance Contracts, two Operator Rescue Beacons, two Fulton Drop Markers, two Medium Backpacks and two Two-Plate Carriers. That report is consistent with the official slot confirmation but is not an official item-by-item publication.

Use the list as a checklist for what an owner may see, not as a guarantee that every copy or region will display the same quantities. If an item is missing, check the platform entitlement first.

How the bonus is delivered

The reviewed official pages establish the edition and the launch timing, not a precise redemption sequence. Check that the Vault Edition entitlement is attached to the same account and platform profile that opens the game.

For the slot itself, inspect the FOB’s Active Duty screen. For inventory items, check the Stash and operator loadout before assuming a missing item was lost in a deployment.

A platform-specific claim code or in-game mailbox flow is not documented in the reviewed sources.

Does it make the mode pay-to-win?

The reviewed material does not establish a competitive advantage strong enough to call the bonus pay-to-win. An extra persistent Operator slot and equipment can affect preparation, but the sources do not quantify combat power or matchmaking impact.

Judge the upgrade on the full Vault package and the extra slot. A player who only wants DMZ access can use the standard game and the purchase guide without buying the bonus package.

Common questions

Does the Deployment Bonus include a third Active Duty slot?

Yes. The official FOB guide says Vault Edition owners have an additional Active Duty slot, giving them three rather than two at the start.

Is the full Deployment Bonus list official?

No single official item table was found in the reviewed material. The extra slot is officially confirmed; the other quantities come from a player report.
